The Therapy
being offered is Breathing/Relaxation techniques and will
develop as the group carries on. The sessions are free
to the Carers for two hours a week.
We offer
two lots of ten week sessions in a year and the therapy is
always different. In the past we have had Massage,
Reiki, Colour Therapy, Extend, Art therapy just to name a
few. A sitting service and maybe transport for those
carers who have no transport means can be provided at no
cost to the carer.
Caring for
loved ones is a difficult role and also has an impact on the
health of the Carer. The idea is to offer a couple of
hours for themselves to recharge, so they are able to carry
on the fantastic job they do.
Anyone who wishes to attend
the sessions must contact to book, as places are limited,
plus if sitting services are required time is needed to
organise and put in place.
